Assumptions-
arrogance and gumption.
They walk in before all
displaying their gall
destroying all grace
leaving beauty out of place, hurting feelings
contriving, depriving, cut-open and dividing
boundaries widen to try and swallow
their conniving, sniveling embrace
only to choke on their engorged pompous retrace.
Belittling, competing, their dying and pleading
to prove to us all their better-ness
that’s leaving, good people in the dust
bleeding, wounded from their bust
Aren’t you Sick of Pompous People?
Stepping on toes
Ignorance- fire from their nose
breathing poison, leeching, sucking, destroying
hanging their coats on your successes
leaving their messes- for you to clean up
attempting to whittle away
your chance at the day
confusing your mind
with their pompous design
Aren’t You Sick of Pompous People?

Freedom is priceless. Focusing on things that do not nourish our soul or spirit, it is energy consuming and dead end alleys.
