#DailyUI Design Challenge Day 010

Doing the #DailyUI Design Challenge to make myself a better designer and to learn Figma is proving a good exercise in consistency and committment.

I am learning and improving in a short time, in my knowledge and understanding of UI Design, and Design in general. It is really a matter of learning these new tools, such as the Figma platform and digital tools, instead of paint brushes and pencils.

Of course I am still a beginner with so much to learn. Taking some online courses and tutorials helps too. But, doing 100 days of design challenges is an excellent practice tool.

In this challenge I designed a Social share page for a music App. I designed it specifically for the iPhone 8.

Hope you like it!

Feedback is desired, so please hit me up with your comments!

#Dailyui Design Challenge Day 007

On my Journey to learn and transition into UI design from Fine Arts, I’ve taken on the #Dailyui 100 day design challenge.

This is my Day 007 design.

I am simultaneously learning Figma to create these designs. Above is a screen shot of a SETTINGS page, I created in the Figma platform, of a fictional Dog Walking/Companion website.

Here it is in its IphoneX container.

What do you think?

Drop comments and feedback below.

Thanks everyone!

#Dailyui 100 Day Design Challenge

I am excited to participate in the #dailyui design challenge. This design is my Day 2 of the challenge. The task was to create a credit card checkout form. I’ve chosen to create a checkout form for an Olympus camera, from an online photography re-sell site. I am also learning Figma, a great intuitive, somewhat new, collaborative and Web-based  platform, which I’ve used to design this checkout form.

Recently I’ve decided to pursue and transition into learning UI/UX Design (User interface/User experience Design) from a traditional fine art background. I find the field a perfect blending of my Fine Arts, Art Therapy/Psychology and Social Justice/Democracy backgrounds and passions.

I’ve chosen to self-educate with online courses, tutorials and networking/meetups in the industry. So far, after 1 month in, I feel super excited with everything I am learning, and I’ve already attended my first Design Meetup. UI/UX Design feels like the perfect next step in my career!

Please hit me with your critiques/feedback on my design as it really helps with progress!
