Do you think it’s easy to ignore this pain? I bothered myself to care regret pressed upon my day to give a crap thought it could lead to understanding But, when liars sit in your heart they eat you from the inside out corrupting the very essence of love— disrupt the heartbeat with vile undertakings to justify the insanity of their lack It negates the purpose of existence the reasons to love cloud over in a hazy-milky-sap blunting the thing you say you love— There comes a moment when time stops the pain of the abuse doesn’t subside The disgust/ the daggers/ the game-playing nonsense— ruthless in its endeavors/ and senility sets you back 10 years/ or more.

Such dark poetry, Jay, but beautifully done and so true of our experiences. Lies are so terribly damaging, cruel, and crazy-making.

It takes effort to open the mind and heart, but yes, full of possibility. ❤

Wow love the premise of this and these key lines that truly say it all:
“But, when liars sit in your heart
they eat you from the inside out
corrupting the very essence of love— ”
I have never seen it put this way..and oh yes..you found the perfect way to say it, Jay!!
