LOLLI #poetry by jay

Sop and sweet

Tea, on my breath

A side of Peach

Lolli

Pop On a stick

Between

Your teeth

You smile

Deep

Regret lingers

In the leaves

At the bottom

Of my tea

Cup, a solemn

Reprieve

Left inside

A lost

Beginning

A chance of

Meetings

Always with

Tea and me

And Lolli

Hanging

Mercilessly

Between your

Tattered

Broken teeth.

  1. That is a great piece of writing Jay! The line break and imagery is fabulous!😀

That is superb!!! Both the breaks and imagery😜😅
What is implied perfectly pitched behind the scenery!
