Seeing is Believing #Poetry

there’s a soul 

on fire

and the 

forces 

ignore

the reasons 

why it blazes 

through the 

atmosphere

trailing the star

that fell 

then lifted

to flight

again

the fire 

the white light

hyperspaced

a line without

a trace 

seen

but for a few

they saw

a soul 

on fire

and they

silenced 

the sight, 

in heat

of ignorance

that forbode 

a trail

never to

be seen

but believed,

as seeing

is believing.
