A Strange Conglomerate

They’ve rounded them up-

These insurgents

They’ve planned and plotted-

A coup

They feel screwed

by an election that

was marred by fake news

An excuse used for lies

told by a president who

spews

but honestly, he knew

He knew he could exploit the few

and the many groups, already skewed

it was their moment to prove

what they believe true

A seizing of power from a deep state

that’s blue

A stolen country, a rigged election

all fits neatly into an insurrection

A strange conglomerate of conspiracy

conflections of like- minded citizens and

insurrectionists.
