I have no words
Today
I’m spent, exhausted
Merely from
A viewing
On my screen
A coup
Attempted for
The world
To see
Can’t unsee
But sometimes
It would help
To ease
The Heart
To ease the
Mind
To ease the
Body
Simply forget
The alternate
Scene
Of reality
Of some
To believe
The unbelievable
It’s unbelievable
The obscene
The belief
Of many.

We in the rest of the world were equally shocked. It seemed unbelievable truly, as your poem so well states it!

He won’t stop to the last day of his presidency. The only thing that will keep him in the presidency is if he starts a war. Sad to see our neighbor being dragged into a playpen

Exactly, Jay! Can’t unsee. No matter how much I might wish to. Yet, I am not at all surprised considering how a petulent petty child with too much power again and again sewed division. This is not my America.
