I Like Mornings

I like mornings spent in 

quiet intent, pondering.

Alas, I have found reasonable

sanity here

in an enjoyable moment.

Reason on reason,

I forget,

all to realize I was given

a gift, not before realized

but nevertheless,

I sit,

in a most enjoyable

state,

quite content.

Days on days,

morning upon morning,

night time shared

enjoying, you

and him.
