There’s a story I say
It lay here, in the masses
We obey
The blight the horrid details
That Amass in plain view
The story of you
As you shout, wave
point
complain
You cry afoul
There’s this story
Somehow
Of indignation placed
On you
Some say
YOU claim
There’s a story
Of missed opportunities
Forged gold, silver, bronze
The Eagles wait
Somewhere there’s this story
You obey
You claim the fortune
Stolen maimed
In there you know
It’s yours to tell
A story for one
Somehow there’s a story
you say.
