Soft white blanket
Serene and tranquil
Feathers from the sky
Casting its solitude
Upon the earth’s ground
Only mother nature
Can slow the chaos down
Snow is the tranquilizer
The earth can swallow slow
Calming the quakes
In its bowels down below
Waiting for the sun
To awaken the frozen slumber
Hibernating underneath
Mother Nature’s
Bright white wonder.
