Shit Happens

Sometimes they say

‘Shit happens’

And you change

Your game plan

I believe it

One way

But pressure myself

Into the big lie

That life is in

Your hands

And you can try

To follow the

Fine details

Of your game

But, ‘Shit Happens’

So turn this life

around

Shake it

Upside down

Look at it

From a new angle

Hold onto nothing

‘Cause, ‘Shit Happens’

I believe your intentions

Are honorable my dear

Especially to your

Sweet little one

Life just has a way

Of knocking the wind

Out of your

Know it all brain

But when you observe

This amazing

Gigantic

Stunning world

In all its’ ugly

Beauty

You have to

Take a deep breath

And say, ‘Shit Happens’
