Artistic Face Masks

Select curation of my Art Designs on masks

I had a tough time initially with this pandemic as far as masks and their appearance. Should they really be a fashion piece? Was I comfortable with a medical mask that is meant to protect us, and others, from a potentially deadly virus becoming an accessory item?

No, I wasn’t.

I wanted it to be a statement, that this is serious business (and it is) and we shouldn’t get comfortable with Covid-19; and EVERYONE should take it seriously and remember to be very careful when we are out in public, or visiting loved ones. Medical masks it was!

Well… here we are right? 5-6 months into this thing and it looks like it is here to stay for the unforeseen future. Dammit 😦

It really was my wife who insisted, that if she was going to have to wear a mask for a long time, she wanted it to look good. She wanted the mask to fit into her work attire and daily fashion decisions; or at least be somewhat fashionable. Traditional medical style masks, or even the black fabric masks weren’t going to cut it for her. Even though black is a “thing” for her, being a transplanted New Yorker, living in Sarasota, Florida.

So, I heard her and thought she had a good point. I decided to give it a go and select some ArtDesigns from my Art Shop to display on face masks. I hope you like the selection; and if you see another piece of artwork in my shop you would like to have on a mask, hit me up and I’ll create a special one just for you!
